Dipali Gupta’s art practice explores feminine societal constructs, influenced by biopolitics and societies of control. Her work subverts patriarchy and androcentricity to reclaim space and meaning. She explores contemporary female sexuality through the theories of the cyborg and assemblage. Awarded the 2025 Marian Treger Fellowship (VCCA) and the 2018 Chan Davies Art Prize, she was also a Sovereign Asian Art Prize finalist. A LASALLE and Goldsmiths graduate, she has exhibited globally from Singapore to London. Based between Mumbai and SE Asia, she teaches parttime and also runs reading groups.
